Angel ??

Hi folks , time for a new image from my side .
Black Headed Gull captured at local town lake , I do just like the " angel appearance " of this gull .

EF 500 IS L II
HH

F 7,1 ; Iso 800 ; 1/400 sec ; man exp ; SS was set that high as I was trying to shoot BIF

Processed with DPP 4 and PSCC 2022 ; cropped and leveled to about 75 % of FF

I'm not sure 1/400 is that high Andreas, or is that an error? :S3:

The whites look well exposed, but if you were at 1/4000 I might have expected the wings to be 'frozen' more???? What was the AF set to, AED or AED within Flexizone?

Oh yes Steve ... a typo , it was 1/4000 sec . Forgot the 0 in the heat of typing .

AED within flexzone , as per DPP focus point was just below the eye . No idea why the wings are slightly soft .

I don't mind the tips of the wings having some blur to them, it implies motion. I ike the crop on this and nice movement!

I like it overall, good techs and processing. Nice pose, colours. I get the impression it may need a touch of CCW rotation though?
