Taken near Madera Canyon AZ. Canon EOS 20D, EF 70-200 at 100mm,,, f/8, 100ISO. One of the very few visits he made during our week at the location.

Too bad the head was not more parallel to the sensor. I also wish it was a bit smaller in the frame but with more of the flower showing. Exposure, sharpness, and the outstretched wing all look great :-)

The bird itself looks great if a bit tight. Agree a bit more of the flowers would be nice, but then some may object they overpower the subject. Well done!

Thanks Fabs, You may have noticed by now That I try to keep the hummingbirds tight as posssible and with little or no flowers. Just my way I guess. I have hundreds of shots with less bird and more flower, but I am always drawn to the one's with more bird.
