Starling mom with big lunch

The Peregrine didn't feel like flying today but mommy starling is excellent at gathering a pile of flies for the little ones. Too bad I can't post a bigger size as the bugs are quite sharp on the original.

Taken with Canon MIII, 400mm f5.6, manual exp, no flash, spot metering, 1/1600, ISO 500, f5.6, handheld with bushhawk.

Wondeful image Bill, look at how dilated the pupil is - and the bill full of insects is cool!!! I would investigate the option of toning down the bright areas in the BG. Very impressive though.
