Hey All,

Been scarce lately, but hoping to post more regularly again. So I have now added a A1 with a 200-600 rig. Thought I would try out my EF 600 f4 with TC 1.4 iii with a Sigma MC11 adapter. Wasn't expecting it to work to well, I was wrong its not bad at all actually..

Hi Wayne. Looks good to me! Lovely feather detail, sharp, good head angle, striking colours and a contrasting BG. I'm ok with the perch...others may have an issue with the bird poo? TFS

No camouflage there! Outlandish, but very tatty. A great scene but would be good to remove the white poop. Nice head turn. Good shot.

I love the colors and detail. Nice to know older lenses still make the grade. TFS.

Wow...what amazing colours and the colours on the BG and the well worn perch blend well....I can see a version with the bird slightly more brighter....Well done Wayne..

Wayne, this is a simple composition and it works very nicely. Awesome dorsal view with a sweet peer back at the lens. What species is it?

Definitely a nice splash of color. I really like the room you left and the sunburst effect in the brighter greens.

The bird droppings are the only thing that brings this down for me, but lots to like. You could take a shot at a little selective sharpening around the eye perhaps.

Quite surprising to get even this quality with the Canon/Sony mix up. Nicely done!

A bit more DoF I think Wayne and ease off on the blacks/contrast, the detail is there but lost in the face.

This is like our Bobolink, but with a flamin' hot-rod paint job! Perfect head angle. For sure I would clean up the droppings on the perch, but all else is good.
