Hi John. Excellent shot of this cute Sanderling. Really like the pose, sharpness and the processing here. The worm? is an added bonus. I can see a version with more cropped from the bottom darker section. TFS

I agree with Paul on less on the bottom. I'd stamp out the dark OOF patch behind his mid-back leg.

Man, was your lens half buried in the mud John!? Man that's as low as a 64 Impala at an LA car show...

Depending on how much crop, compositionally the proportions are right to my eyes but if you lose much quality going in more then this is the best choice from my view.

Nicely done on all counts and a gorgeous breeding plumage bird. You did a great job of isolating the subject. I am with Jay on the dark blob.

Great low angle indeed. Prey item a super bonus. That blob behind the leg definitely needs to go (mask the leg and clone away).
