Hi Glenn .... cool shot .

Interesting to see the different color rendering between your and Arash´s version . Maybe taken at a different time of the day .

Pose is nice and the open beak is taking it up a notch .

Personally I would prefer a classical 3x2 crop instead of the almost pano version .

Very nice BIF shot

For me the best posted A1 image ... so far !!! Just from the purely technical side of view .

Thanks Andreas, I actually have the exact same frame as Arash, that I may post. His was shot with the 200-600 and mine with the 600mm prime. They look very similar except his has more depth of field from the 6.3 aperture giving the tail feathers more detail. It goes to show that the price of the equipment does not always mean better!

super Glen, in an ideal world the prey would be whole but we both know that doesn't happen when you are ready with a camera

and you are correct that 200-600 is a better suited lens for this particular location that the 600 f/4. It will give more keepers since you can zoom back and get those close shots

TFS, great frame man. if mine I might increase the brightness on the PF by 1/3 stops, just a toch dark as posted

Great image indeed Glen.We have our peregrine season starting to ramp up [well they are sitting] and you and Arash have set up something to aim for with the latest BIFaction shots . Beautifully clean sharp images with interesting BG'S.I agree that a touch more light may pay off but not much. Keep well ,lovely stuff.Ian.

Glenn, a real gem man. I can feel the intensity and love the food in talons.

Do like your choice of composition. Interesting to hear your comparison on lenses and the effects of dof.

Regardless, a real nice capture, congrats!
