Went out to a local garden today as I was getting antsy waiting for my tour..........so I decided to get some practice in today. I was busy chasing dragonfly......when I was walking over a bridge.......that had natural wood railings. Canon Mark3 with the Sigma 180mm macro and the mt24 twin lights at minus 2/3 all at ISO 1000 and f32 for 1/100 sec handheld. 80% of full frame after rotation and crop for comp. I have a little less graphic one:eek:..........but figured we don't often get to see this behavior;) ........well........with fly's anyway:D!
As always comments welcomed and appreciated!

Nice details. Very well exposed. Good, controlled usage of flash.
Do u have any images with lower perspective (shot from slightly lower level)...?

Wow, Roman...those eyes!!! Great job on controlling the flash. I sure hope they didn't have as "productive" a time as you did!

Great detail here Roman and the large orange compound eyes makes this image work for me!

Very interesting image and I agree the eyes make it special. However, "that's all we need - more flies"!! LOL:eek:
