These three were waiting for some food! Stayed a while to see what would happen but no adult returned.
Single nest in a bog along an Interstate (RT89) in NH. Got off and found a spot to work from. 1dm3, 500f4 w/ 2X on a very old Husky Tripod. 1/800, F8 one shot, iso400. Bob

Cute image. I like the way the trio is waiting in anticipation. Unfortunately, it looks soft to me.

Good look at a nest with a nice clean BG. Kind of reminds me of kids waiting for Dad to come home from work. As Ed mentioned, the image is a little soft, and none of the three birds is making eye contact. It looks like the sharpest focus was on the front of the nest.

I don't mind the missing eye contact since they are all looking in the same direction and like the angle but agree that the birds need a bit more sharpening.
