More for my time with the AKs sharing their world with me this Summer. Here, mom or dad (never sure which) was flying down the breezeway with a real look of determination. Glad he wasn't coming for me. And yet, in a way... he was.

great incoming pose with slightly open beak. your ss is a bit slow for incoming kestrel I'd go at least 1/4000 or 1/5000 sec. BG can you some noise reduction, I see a bit of reddish cast.

Yeah, I keep the SS up as long as I can. ISO was already up to 2K so I cut back on the SS. Maybe I should run the ISO higher. Haven't figured out how I want to play that on the A1 yet.

ISO is not an issue have been getting great files up to 8-10K. Did you see me text ?

Looks like focus on face,, light not the best and wings not the best.... You do well shooting these with tripod, not sure how you pull that off....Tough shot for sure.

The head on flight pose is very nice. Wish you had that killer solid background of the others.
