Love those sharp red eyes, the sheet of water at the scratching foot, the super-low perspective, and even the large expanse of defocused foreground. I am guessing that some folks will suggest a crop from below.

I hope that you blind is a floating blind not a floatable one ... :)

with love, artie

Kevin, gorgeous balance with the whites on deep blues here and the popping red eyes. I actually have a series of a Western 'scratching' his ear, such fun behavior!

For me, Artie nailed the composition comment as I think a bit less below, maybe even a pano would work well here. Otherwise, perhaps a bit less sharpening as the head and breast appear a touch overdone to my eyes.

Great action, tfs my friend!

I agree with the comments thus far Kevin. Love the low angle and also think a pano crop might suit this better, but I still like it as posted as well.

Hi Kevin, excellent low perspective, and love the soft light and IQ. Those eyes stand out so well, and another vote for a tad off the bottom.

Fantastic picture Kevin, love the low angle, red eyes, water detail under the wing and serenity in the birds pose

Great view of those red eyes. They really pop on this one. Low angle is right on.

Oh my - what eyes. I'd think it was a PS joke but that it's true! Love the low angle and water on wing. TFS.
