This lovely princess is currently residing in my living room table. She came to visit my wife Adriana for her Birthday; and will be staying for about two weeks. She is painted with a Nikon D70s, using a Nikkor 200mm f/4D macro lens.

focal length @ 200mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / matrix metering / 1/2.5sec. - f/40 / ISO @ 400 /
white balance @ cloudy / AF Mode @ manual / color mode @ sRGB / tone comp @ +1 degree / hue adjustment @ +2 degrees / saturation factor @ +3 degrees / exposure comp @ -0.3EV / no speedlight /
used a pen light with a yellow gelitan filter for directional light in the center of the rose. / tripod assist /

Comments greatly appreciated...

Very nice, Gus, experimenting with alternate lighting sources can be very rewarding! And nothing's quite as beautiful as a rose! Happy birthday to your wife!
