This male goose was keeping watch over the pond, the background grasses border a small island where the female was sitting on eggs.

hi Jon, everything works fine for me. The detail is perfect in black. I loved it a lot. The greenery in the front is a click eye-catching.

Sharp with a good exposure. But with the sun almost right overhead and the big shadow under the tail, this one does not do much for me.

I like the placement of the goose and the look back pose.
Water is a bit messy but I can live with it!
The shadows on the rump are such a strange shape- I keep trying to figure out how they were created,
