I captured this image at Lake Morton in Lakeland, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Post processed in Lightroom Classic, Photoshop CC 2021 and Topaz Sharpen AI
Cropped slightly for composition and presentation

This image is both perfectly executed and lovely. Please note that Joe captured the peak of the action, has the bill parallel to the imaging sensor, used a fast enough shutter speed to freeze the motion, and exposed properly to keep the WHITEs white on a dreary day.

Hi Joe, your pelican image is lovely, EXP is perfecto and i like the interesting pose with the beak action. Also the soft pastel BG compliments the tufted textured feathers, all well done.

Wonderful Joe on all accounts. Like I said you know a great image when it pops. That was my first impression before I looked at any comments or who took the photo it just pops off the screen at you. Love the pastel colors and the detail. TFS

The pose is great with the bill open like that. Nice thinking on the vertical framing. Looks great high key.
