I captured this image at Ft. Desoto County Park in Pinellas County, Florida. I had seen a Osprey on this perch on a previous trip, this time it was eating a fish so I set up to capture images. I had to move slightly off the light angle for a good view of the bird. The angle is a tad steep, it always a choice of fill the frame or move back to lessen the angle and then crop after. I chose to fill the frame. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Post processed in Lightroom Classic, Photoshop CC 2021 and Neat Image for noise reduction, removed branches from the lower left hand corner of the frame
Cropped slightly for composition and presentation

Beautiful light and details with a killer stare. Also love the hint of clouds in the sky. Yes, an up angle but I like your choice. TFS

Joe a beautiful capture and I like the angle and I would also have gone with fill the frame. Nice with the fish. My only complaint would be to lighten the breast some and make it pop even more. Maybe it was that dirty look. Just a personnel taste. No matter still excellent.

Looks good overall, and fun with that down-the-barrel stare. Sweet light, good sharpness. I know you chose to fill the frame as is, but I still would prefer more room for the comp. What kind of fish is this?

Looking right at you. I do like the light and the pose. Not your trypical perch and that's alright with me.
