Further to some feedback about my previous Osprey post, I have edited another one taken at the same location. processed in acr and ps. Distracting twigs removed, and reduced contrast as per previous suggestions. I do think it looks better.

Nikon D500/500PF, 1/800th sec@f5.6, iso640, manual mode HH.

Much, much better!
Soft, ethereal feel to the image and the blunt end of the perch is no longer visible which really improves the image,

Hi Paul .... looks better compared to the previous image of the eagle . And I like that you have the eagle on eye level !!!!
Think you can afford a bit more selective tonal depth in the subject and the perch , just my take .

Hi Andreas: You may be right, but didn't want to overdo the contrast. May go back and apply some luminosity masks and see what I come up with. Cheers.

Paul, I like the image but I agree pull down some luminosity, I think this will be a beauty! I have had a look at the jpeg but I think going back to the raw file you could make a powerful image.

Thanks Jonathan. I'm actually ok as is, but will definitely have another look as per your suggestion. Cheers.

Serious stare, Paul! And I;m not gonna mess with those feet - great view of those talons! The lighting was tough here. Brown on bird looks a bit washed out, and there's no direct light anywhere on the subject.

Thanks Dorian. My last post had too much contrast, so with this one I reduced it. I did re-edit the raw file and removed the "washed out look"...and it does look better, but I'm still ok with this one as is.
