This Snowy Egret was all over the place chasing away his competition for food and I assume a mate.

Fun behaviour to observe and to photograph. I like the dynamic pose and foot action. Tack-sharp on the face! The whites look perfect to me. Having the near wing raised higher would have been so good. I would also apply some CCW rotation as the water seems to be slant downward left-to-right. Good job overall, such a fun image!

One of my favorite birds and you've given the full treatment. Fantastic pose, EXP and details. TFS

ps
Those wave reflections, that crest and the yellow slippers...

A really dynamic frame.
I love the partially submerged foot that is still visible.
Great hairdo!
Sharp and whites look great.
Agree with Daniel on a bit of CCW rotation.
Very good frame!

Kurt, so photogenic are the Snowys. No exception here.

You captured the subject with a very nice landing pose and bumping to f8 allowed you to get great sharpness even on the extreme ends.

Great job with the details in whites. Rotation comments noted and agreed.

TFS!

Very nice action view. Exposure and detail look great, and the open beak is really nice. Trademark yellow feet are a nice addition. I only wish the near wing was a it higher. I also think you could loosen the crop a bit; he's kinda tight above and below (but I like the space to the right).
