Wish it were mine Dan. I love those dark backgrounds. Nice light on the Heron. It all looks good. TFS

Dan, looks pretty nice to me. Very different with the black background; I think it highlights the subject nicely.
Love to have a bit more direct sun on the underwing but you processed it pretty well, preserving color and detail after the lift.
I think maybe the shadows brush bled a little bit onto the opposing wing along the leading edge of the near one?
At one point you had commented on one of my Harriers that it was a little large in frame. I didn't see it at the time but I do notice it a bit here. For me, a touch more in front could help but works as is.

Thanks all, Brian, yes my selection (not a brush), did bleed into the far wing I can see.
I will be more careful, Thanks. I also have more room in front.
