Sweet light, sweet bird, sweet image. The grasses are just the right height. Perfect head angle.

Which 500 are you using?

Fabulous Kevin, such a beautiful image with the pink hues... As Artie said, grasses are the rught height and i like the pattern as it fades in the BG, well done!

Kevin:

Quite striking. Love the bird looking towards the sunrise, framing.

I find the grasses a bit too bright and washed out, and might try a version with them toned down a bit, pull a bit more detail out of them. Just personal taste really.

Cheers

Love the light in this one and that BG color is awesome! Great alert pose from the subject as well. Nice work!

Randy Thanks I agree with you. I never noticed how washed out they look till you brought it to my attention.

Kevin, this has a really soothing feel to it. Really like the comp and the stunning light. Sharpness is again great.

Touch of sat in the bkg perhaps, as mentioned and maybe one look with a touch less contrast on the subject might be worth seeing.

Well done overall!

Very Nice Image. Beautiful light.

I would burn the shadows on the grass slightly.
Nice Head Angle.
