I keep forgetting that my 500 doesn't make a bad macro with an extension tube! Easy enough to slide an extension tube in your pocket to play with when the birds aren't flying.

A great capture Bill - I've seen a few images of this species now and just love the wing formations - very impressive!!
Just would like to see a little more space at top and left side. (thats coming from someone who generally likes tight compositions) ;)

Hey Bill, this came out really nice. Good details and I like the colors in the BG. I don't mind the tight crop, as I tend to crop tight myself.

You nailed this one. It's downright magical. What I would give to have seen this head on!

Hey Bill,
as I am a huge fan of tight crops.........this doesn't bother me! Would I like a bit more room up top...........maybe........but this is sweet!

Beautiful. I love everything about this image. Great composition. Great color. Very sharp. Terrific background. That 500 is one heck of a macro lens! ;)
