Hi
I found these growing on a white sandy track in the Jarrah forest.
This was taken a f8 and was impossible to keep the whole mushroom in focus but does have a nice BG.
I have another at f32 which is very sharp with the whole mushroom in focus but the BG is not as pleasant.

Excellent details, perfect DOF. Liked the natural arrangement of the mushrooms & ofcourse well seen by u.
The eye-level perspective makes this image really pop up.
No nits :)

An interesting find Tony. Something that many people don't realize that these little gems are not only found in rainforests but also in desert conditions. Pity the BG wouldn't tolerate a smaller aperature as it would nice to bring those gills under the cap into focus, never-the-less, a nice image!!

Hey Tony, very nice family portrait. I think the details look great a good BG. I really like the perspective from down at ground level.

I'm with Mike on this one. I love your perspective and think you made the right choice as this has good detail and a great FG/BG. How cool to see mushrooms in the sand!

Tony you might be able to selectively blur the bg on the stopped down image?
I like it a lot as presented and feel its a very fine image !!!

Hi Tony,
Excellent perspective. I like the sand on the stems and decent DOF. I would personally remove 1/2 the room above the mushrooms....this will further emphasize the grouping and may help with the f32 version also!
