man, you guys really worked this spider!!! i would crop some from the top and left to bring your spider into the top left intersection of the ROT. did you use AF or manual focus. looks like the point of focus was one of the legs and not the body!!

i might would have tried to move around and find a more consistent bg too. the multicolored bg is a little distracting. i gotta get that lens!! my next purchase!! looks like a lot of fun!!

Hey Oscar,
I like the composition of your spider, especially the multi-colored background. Question for you...:confused: I see quite a bit of noise in the background...why? With a D300 and ISO @ 400; you should not have any...unless you over sharpened in post processing...:confused:
