I can see some noise around the flower stem from the selection and a bit of noise on the Hummer tail..
Nice that Sony goes up to 1/10000 SS..

This is a beautiful natural light image of this stunner. I don't really see any noise of notice and plenty of detail and color with a killer BG. Only very minor nit, might be able to get more in the flowers with desat on red. Love this canvas as is, though. TFS

Hi Kurt, very nice indeed, we seen and captured. I would look at you WB, going cooler and reducing the magenta too, via the Tint and open the image up. Colours really rock then and it illustrates far more of the detail captured in the raw.

Kurt, nice angle to the sun and flight pose. The red pop in the flower adds a lot of interest.

Steve's repost opened up the photo a lot (bird specifically). I think if you take another swing on that along with touching up the mask on the flowers you can really have a nice frame.

Very nice action frame, Kurt! Been to Ash Canyon many times - it's a great place! Flower is a saturated, but otherwise things look pretty good. I can appreciate that Steve's repost has more pop, but I think his lacks contrast and makes the image looks flashed (despite the slightly blurred wings). I think something intermediate between the two would be ideal.

Sorry Dorian, I have to disagree about being flat and adding more contrast which will then get back to the OP, as it will kill a lot of the midtone (where the detail is) and choke the dark/black areas rendering zero detail and so images become over sharpened to pull back detail lost. Certainly one of the big pitfalls of LR and it's 'pants' profile Adobe colour and where LR adds black/contrast prior to any PP work.
