Elephant bull approaching

Hi folks .. just a simple image from Nxai Pan in Botswana .
Image taken on last day in the park .... light was already very harsh in the morning , but we took the chance to get the bull approaching our vehicle .

Processed with DPP 4 and PSCC 2021 ; slightly cropped for comp from bottom and RHS

Hi Andreas -- Definitely the light was not in your favour, but still you have carved out a nice looking image.

The low POV makes this already a huge looking bull even more bigger. Looks like a pretty harsh environment.

Techs are looking fine , and you have done justice to the image by keeping the things according to lighting conditions.

Good job done in difficult light, I remember a similar scene when I was in Kruger - I'll never forget!! The ele looks rather blue to me.

A nice looking elephant i like the framing. Detail is quite nice. You handled the light very well.

Hy Andreeas, despite the harsh light you composed a nice picture. I like the low POV and the way the track leads my eye to the bull, plus the raised front foot which suggests movement. The mix between the dreid up mud and the fresh one just makes the bull stand out.

What a massive bull elephant! The head on pose is always striking and the raised foot is cool. Harsh light well managed.

Nice Bull elephant, a looser crop all round might be better, but just a matter of taste. May be a slight CCW rotation.
