So nice to be able to get out and shoot again - even if there's not much to shoot. This guy helped out.

Sharp with a perfect EXP. And a killer wing-sketch pose. Surprisingly, the broad whitish line does not wreck it for me; it is in just the right place.

Exposure and pose look good, but I think this image suffers in the sharpness department. The line is a problem for me, but the sharpness issue is bigger for me.

I second the concern about the lack of details and sharpness here. The pose is perfect though and the colors are brilliant as well. Exposure looks allright but the blacks in the far wing could be lifted a bit more. I'm not a fan of the white streak either, it is too distinct for me.
Beautiful frame nonetheless

Actually, posted the wrong shot. This one had the better stretch and was more in focus... I had to do some clone work behind the bird though - not sure how well that turned out. Anyhow, loved the stretch...hope to get a "clear" shot soon... maybe even today as I'm heading out now! :)

Yes, this one had no line so that was a plus as well.

The repost looks twice as sharp as the original. The pose is killer.

Pose and amended sharpness all spot on, excellent work in getting rid of the white line.

Repost is great.
Love, love the wing and head position. Color of the water is really nice!
This is a winner and great job getting rid of white in BG,
Gail

Repost is a real gem of a shot well done. I really like the chin at water level.

Jay, congrats on a fantastic frame. The non-breeding Avocet works amazingly well with the warm water color. The wings-up with chin touching the water, plus angle of view are sweet.

Great job exposing and processing darks and whites.

cool frame I like the warm colors, the ripples a bit distracting but nice other wise
