Last evening, western horizon still blocked by Sally feeders but slightly brighter light than previous evening. Rolled up on my friend, sat down a few meters away and got this "You, Again?" stare.

I love how we see both eyes, and both are nice and sharp too. The bill fits nicely within the neck's width. Good composition, good BG. Some colour noise to deal with on the wings, and a small oof grass blade that is poking up on the lower feathers. Cool texturing of the feathers along the neck's length!

Agree with Daniel. I think the image needs a bit of boost in the blacks/browns.
Too bad about the blade of grass but not a deal breaker,
