Shot at Ft. DeSoto Park on 5/8/20 at 7:23am: Sony a9, 200-600mm F/5.6-6.3 G OSS lens + 1.4x telextender at 840mm. Shot at 1/2,500sec at F/9, ISO 1600, on Induro 304L tripod with Flex shooter mini head. Manual exposure (zebras).I probably should have zoomed back a little to give them more room

The Terns (Royal, Sandwich, Least) were very active that morning and these two were performing their mating ritual right in front of me. They are out of step but I don't think it matters! I cleaned up a few sticks and shells but nothing major.

The light (and EXP) is sweet, the surroundings perfect, the poses priceless. TFS

Nice you caught them with almost identical poses. The light was nice. Nice raised crest on the left bird.

Nice post and Light.

A Couple of pointers:-

1.) You might have attached TIF file to post. I would recomment JPEG with Sharpening
2.) More space around would be nice.

Good job with the exposure. And the action and poses are great. I missed being there in May ... The head of the bird on our right looks sharper than the head of the bird on our left.

with love, artie
