Finally Fully Fledged Friend...

This was the night before I found Mom hunting late, but I knew this chick was already fledged. After grabbing a couple images as this chick continued to let me close, stuck around till after dark with no call from Mom. After a few apple snails this beauty flew into nice perch and settled in for the night. This image was created just before sunset with a partially clouded western sky.

Nice one David...Love the pose and your crop...Beautiful look at the bill. I would try a wee bit more sharpening on the head only.

Nice one David. I like the pose, HA and detail you've captured. I agree with Will's suggestion re sharpening the head. I'd also suggest toning down the white sections below the head and neck, as i find my eye drawn to them. TFS
