I captured this image at Ft. Desoto, early morning, a couple years ago and processed today. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Nikon D500
Nikon 80-400mm F/4.5-5.6 VRII AF-S ED, camera and lens supported by a monopod
1/2000 F/5.6 Matrix Metering EV +1/3 ISO 360 Auto 1 WB, image captured at 400mm
Post processed in Lightroom Classic, Photoshop CC 2020 and Neat Image for noise reduction when needed
Cropped for composition and presentation

Love the soft pastel feel as this beauty saunters. Could it maybe use a slight CCW rotation? Not sure, but love this canvas overall. TFS

The soft light makes this one for me. Framing is right on. A nice scene overall.

Hi Dan, thank you for viewing and commenting. The morning had some fog close to the water. I think that is what made the image appear soft. The active focus point was where is should be, side of neck just under the head. In this repost I added Dehaze in Lightroom to cut through the fog. This looks sharper to me.

I love the original picture. The dehazing has added yellow to the underside of the bird and made the beak a bit dark.
