I love the foot positions and the way the warbler is leaning over, but it is unfortunate that the bill is merging with the branch. Good BG, and foliage adds a hint of spring which is nice.

Love the framing, perch and pose. TFS

Yes that branch, as Dan mentioned...Too much to clone out!! ...The pose is brilliant, with great colours throughout.

Thanks guys. An inner voice told me that some daylight between bill tip and twig would be nice, but I chose to ignore it. Here I've added some daylight, and a few other tweaks.

Bill, great PS job creating separation in the repost!

Looks like you either reduced greens or reduced saturation, possibly lifted the exposure in the whites? Regardless, to me the bird looks much better in the repost as does the perch, however I did prefer the more saturated greens in the leaves from the first fwiw.

PS - my 4 yr old is sitting on my lap. I asked her what she things about the birdie and she said, "I love it". So there ya go :-)

Those young leaves sure scream spring. The pose is neat with the bird leaning like that. Nice background.

Nice capture, Bill. I like the crouched alert pose, and beige/green background with glow in center.

Hi Bill, lovely little warbler. I am anxiously waiting for them to return here. Nice work on the repost separating the bill from the branch. Not sure why but the feather detail in the original appears better than in the repost. Thank you for sharing.

The repost is really nice but I think I like the colors of the OP best.
There is a funny squiggly line above the bird that needs to go! At first, I thought it was dirt on my monitor, but after cleaning my monitor, the line was still there!
And now, I have a nice clean screen so thank you!
Great PP work,
Gail

OK. Here's one more try, thanks to your collective help. I've revisited the saturation and fine detail. and found and evicted the squiggly line.

That's the best version!
