I like this one a lot James. Some may complain that it is bulleyed in the frame but that seems ok with me on this image. the colors are terrific and the background complements the Ladyslipper very nicely. Very nice capture all around.

This is a perfect example of when it really works to break the rule of thirds. Your composition and DOF is right on the money, James.

Hi James,
Usually not a huge fan of black BG's.........but the unusual specimen and great colors really jump out at you! A little tight in the frame...especially lower left petal.......but this just works for me.
