It was a magic moment when these deer appeared out of the Central Florida Fog !

Beautiful image and nice ROT placement of the deer. I would be interested too in a crop with less room in the back of the right deer.

Silhouette is perfect (black). Good detail and layering in the BG and the vertical slop of the clouds from right to left; also going from bright to darker add to the image by enforcing the direction of the gaze of the deer with is away from the camera position. Since you can see the noses and ears so well and you gave them room and a scene to look into, the head turn away works IMO.

Nice work Layton.

Well executed Layton. My initial thoughts were getting lower and place them against red sky. But looks like adding a foggy background made it much better.
Well done job.

Good capture Layton. Love the low angle and composition.

The atmosphere works really well in this image, and I love that you had good head angles on the deer. I agree with Robert that cropping a bit off of the right side might be a good idea to make the position of the left-most deer less awkward.

I love it but deign to disagree with Robert and David; if you crop from the right you lose the beautiful triad of trees there...

very nice, I have no problem with your subject placement. The smallest of nits is a bit of artifact on the top of the deer's backs.
