Hand held captured in my back garden. The darter adopts this pose for thermoregulation purpose.

Very interesting behavioral image. Didn't know about the relationship to thermoregulation. Great sharpness throughout. nice background as well.

Excellent detail on your subject and perch plus very nice lighting! This could also work well as a vertical comp. I would be tempted to try blurring the background a bit on the left side so that the grass blades weren't so distinct. Very nicely done!

My frist thought was go vertical. But i know not always possible. The pose is very neat as well. Detail on the dragonfly is nice. Nice and sharp.
