OK, so it's an image that's not going to set the world alit and the perch is crap, but I do like this wee fellow.
The cats and occasional fox seem to be the culprits in the local birdlife decline in our garden in London, the Sparrowhawk, as Jon A knows, is the assassin who has decimated the garden birds at our other house up north. However, I was pleased to see that the baby Robin was still around and was helping me, as I cleared in preparation for putting in a new fence later next month. He/she was grateful for all the bugs & beetles I was uncovering.
