Shorencliffe pier is only 15 mins from my house. There are plenty of people fishing at this spot, which is a shame as far as the Osprey is concerned, as it waits for the fishermen to cast off and sometimes makes a dive for their bait at the end of the fishing line. I'd prefer the osprey to dive for a fish in the water. On this particular day a fisherman threw a fish on to the ground and the Osprey mad a dive for it. It wasn't until I got home and viewed my images that I saw there was a fishing line caught in the bird's feathers, and it was there again then next day. I've cloned it out on this image. This is one of a series of images I may post. Cheers.

osprey and details are great but the perch and steep angle hold this back.. I'd also de-sat the electric blue sky which is also noisy

Hi Arash: Thank you for the feedback. The perch and steep angle may be an issue...but the sky is as it was, and I don't see noise on my monitor even at greater than 100% zoom.

Great job with whites (esp. with slightly harsh light) and details overall. Yes a little steep but a great view of this awesome fisher. TFS
