Nice post. I wish you were able to freeze the motion blur on the legs. Eye is sharp and nice point of view.

Solid low angle shorebird frame! Great lighting and plumage, and all the techs look good to me. These guys move their legs hella fast then they run,
so I usually try to be at 1/2500 or 1/3200 to totally freeze the scaly details. You might have been able to go a tad lower, but the angle you achieved
really smoothed the bumpy surroundings nicely. As is, the beach offers really nice texture. I miss this type of beach shooting. Nowhere to do it here.....

Oh yes, this gets me all revved up for the upcoming shorebird season!! I love the "rolling hills" of the muddy flats. This worn adult has done its' job and heading out for a well-deserved off-season break!

All has been said. I actually love the blur in the legs and the trailing water. TFS

I love the low POV. Great background and pose. I do wish the legs were frozen, but the water trail is really cool. I might do some eye work to darken the iris/remove the reflection, but it's personal preference. TFS Dan

Nice sand and water. The framing is right on. I like the pose as well.
