Wonderful banking flight capture, John. Love the head position (with purple iridescence), sharp detail, and beautiful background. The light is exceptional. Very neat to see the slight adjustment of the lead individual primary feathers.

Love the chosen framing and of course the pose (beautiful banking view of the top side). You have an extra duck head and top wing tip(cloning ghosts) to the left of the subject. TFS

ps
Love the water back drop...

Thanks for catching that. Talk about sloppy.

Thanks for catching that. Talk about sloppy.

It always amazes me what we can miss with PP and another pair of eyes makes obvious. I looked at the image, loved the water/sky and started to wipe a smudge off my screen in that beautiful BG. Only then did I look closer and realize it was the head. Then as I was posting back to you and figuring how to locate it for you, I saw the wingtip as well.

ps
Sloppy is not a word I would use when describing your art...:w3

This is a really nice frame of a species we don't often see in flight (at least in photos!). The eye contact is perfect, and I like Dan's suggestion of a vertical crop - assuming you have the resolution. Really dynamic image....

A beautiful pose in great light. Nice head angel with a look toward the camera. The blue background is gorgeous on my screen. I would also go vertical with this one.
