From Brigantine (Forsythe NWR) a week or so ago. Background layers consisted of water channel, mud flat, grass bank and darker vegetation. I cloned out a small darker area in the top layer, and removed a grass stem on the right.

Good looking frame, Bill, particularly the fluffy perch and softly-graded BG. It's amazing how those feet onto the thinnest things! The composition feels pretty good given the birds mostly-horizontal position, and the details look great across the frame. The image does feel a bit cool at the moment, so I would consider warming it a touch. Would be nice if the perch was more golden, and warming might help that.

Classic view of these fella. I like the framing and the typical wetland background. The bird is positioned on the perch very nicely.

Looking nice Bill...Lovely details and good control of the blacks...Nice pose. I agree with Dorian, that it looks a wee bit cool, and would warm it up just a tad.

A classic RWB image Bill. I like the perch, composition, details and multi layer BG.
