I love it when this species does its' impression of a nuthatch. I got a few good frames of this behaviour recently. One of my favorite species of warbler!

Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/800s., f/5.6, ISO 1600, natural light, handheld, about 75%FF, darkened the pupil and lightened the iris to clean up the eye, NR to the BG only. Audio used.

That bird looks great against all that green. Really like the pose as well. Framing is dead on.

I love these spunky, alert little warblers. Great pose, and the touches of green on the trunk are a nice addition.

Love the horizontal and everything else. This one is a 100% stunner. The pose is perfect and the feet are beyond amazing!
