The low angle and stare are bang on. This might have made a nice horizontal if the shooting situation allowed.

Quite dreamy like the previous post of this subject. I like it, but could see a version with some subtle contrast enhancements to the bird only. Not much, just clean up the haze a bit.

Yes, I noticed the same thing. My background(around the frame) in PS is darker and makes it look better. Soon as I posted(with the lighter BG around the image), looked a little washed out to me. Ask and you shall receive. Thanks to all for very valued inputs.
