Hi Brian. Really like this one...love the sense of motion, the water splash and the great reflection. A little more a head turn towards you would be nice...but not a deal breaker. Looking forward to seeing more of your work. Cheers.

I absolutely love this image Brian.
The bird is a bit passed you but the head turn makes up for it.
Whites look great and that calm water adds a lot.
Love the title too- very funny!
Well done,
Gail

Way cool title and pretty much perfect canvas, my friend. No nits from here. TFS

Great view of this cinnamon teal drake. Love how the bird looks like it's gliding along the water. The reflection is nice as well.

Hi Brian, neat image. The calm water, the reflection and the bird appearing to run on water are all nice. Others didn't mention it so I am probably being picky but on my display the head looks a tad over sharpened, a little crunchy. Lovely image, thank you for sharing.

Joe, sorry it looks that way. I barely touched sharpening comparatively - 120/0.8 in the RAW and only 25/.3 in PS. Crop was around 55%, which shouldn't be an issue on a 45mp camera usually.

Looking at the RAW, he may have just been diving before he came in as his head looked wet and appeared to be a bit crunchy from the start. I tried 0 sharpening at output before settling here and there was just not enough overall sharpness for web.

Nice Brian,
Unique, great subject. Just enough of a head turn to work.

Hi Brian, a bit late to the party, but fun image as Gail mentioned and I like the warm colours, however I'm with Joe and his thinking here. To me the main clarity looks more in the centre of the body with some nice plumage detail/separation, but the sharpening has created a very fine halo around the contour of the subject.
