This little guy was in the reedbed at the bottom of my road, I had been trying to get a shot of him since mid April, the opportunity presented itself and this was the once day I didn't take my camera, I went back home quickly and fortunately he was still there singing away.
I have toned down the reed stems they were very bright but not blown.

Well worth the extra exercise and nice of this beauty to stick around. Love the composition and canvas overall. TFS

This is really pretty Jon.
Love the reeds and the diagonal line they create in the frame.
Really nice complimentary BG and I like the singing pose.
Wel done,
Gail
PS I might be tempted to evict the tiny little bit of OOF grass along bottom edge on left side. Just tidies things up!

Hi Jon, this is gorgeous. Love the framing, comp and overall content. Looks well processed on the MBP, but... :w3 pulling the Blue Curves channel in just takes a little red out? Adding one of your TK gismos, with a tone of 60, coupled with a levels adj I think might just give it that 'pop'?

Looks like we both struck gold this weekend on stuff. :S3:
