Hi Paul, love this canvas overall. Great job getting eye, legs, wings and abdomen within reasonable DOF. Have much respect for macro photographers after playing and realizing just how accurate your positioning needs to be. EXP and lovely sky/other buds BG seems spot on. Much respect and TFS.

Hi David. Thanks so much for the kind feedback...it is much appreciated. Macro is the style of photography that I started with back in around 2003 with a canon A75, 3.2 megapixel! and an Opteka (I think) macro lens add-on to the A75. Hoe times have changed! Due to Covid and being at home so much more has allowed me to indulge again, which I really enjoy. Now that Queensland had lifted restrictions on movement (we can drive up to 50km from home) I'm able to get out and photograph birds again, so life is not so bad now. I hope that things go better soon for all of you in the US. Cheers.

Nice one Paul, very good colours and a pleasing angle, just a tad more DOF would have been good but I do like it as presented.

Hi Jonathan. Thank you for the feedback. More DOF in the Bee, the flowers or both? I'll aim for f11-16 maybe. Cheers.

Looks right on as presented to my eyes. You handled the light very well. Nice framing and detail on the bee.
