Loving this series, Dan. Great pose, EXP and details. Little more of the nest and a slight drop in contrast would work for me as well. Love it as is, though. TFS

Nice pose on both birds. Nice view of the nest as well.

you seem to have found a pretty good view of the nest and pretty close too! these type of shots usually come from Lake Blue Cypress in FL but looks like your location is just as good. love the action and excellent processing, good details and a clean BG take this to the top. if anything I might sharpen the lower bird a tad more

one of your best osprey frames

Killer excellent. A rare clean nest with no Murphy's Law sticks ruining it. The contrast looks fine to me. Did you do some sloppy work just in front of the female? You might wish to reduce the BLUE in her tail and the male's armpit feathers ...

Thanks for the comments.
This is too big a crop really, I think the IQ could be better, but I wanted to show the Act up close.
The nest is close, I am shooting at 500mm, 840mm would get full frame face shots.
Artie, I did trim back the stick in front of the bird, you have good eyes.
The blue is because I messed with it a bit with it after I converted in C1P, I need to leave it alone.

The Photoshop error was pretty bad as I do not have a sharp eye for those things. The light green BKGR triangle and the sharpness mismatch on the black piece of wood are glaring.

IQ looks OK to me (and to Arash as well). How did you get above the nest???

Artie, the nest is eye level to the river bank 50 yards away, I can go up the bank and look down on the nest.
It is on an old river piling 15 feet above the water with the sun directly behind me.
About as ideal setup as you could ask for.
