Dream light..

Osprey taken this morning, there is about a 10 minute period just after 8 AM where I
live, where if the sun is out and the birds fly I can get lucky.
They fly directly in front with the sun right behind me.

D500, 500mm (300 f2.8 w.1.7) f5, 1/5000 , iso1100

I shot at 1/5000 just because I could, I rarely get the chance.
The catchlight is DFC.

Nice Dan love the flight angle shows lots of detail. Nice light and background goes well gives lots of contrast. TFS

This is really nice, the highly-detailed feet being a highlight for me. The upturned gaze works well with the flight path, and the lighting is indeed killer. Wish the near wing was a tough higher, but I'd be stoked with
this frame. I have light but no birds, at least for the next 4 months. You have birds but not light. Interesting.
