Thanks, Volkan, the eye is not pixelated it has bloodshot veins in it.
I could post the blow up shot but it doesn't matter.
That is what the eye looked like.
I have hundreds of photos of this Osprey.

Great pose, light, and BG. The shadow on the far wing is pretty cool since you can see the beak. Prey item is awesome. Face and fish (that plane) do look slightly oversharpened to my eyes. Very nice control of HLs and SHs here. TFS

Thanks Alex, I do not do my own sharpening and I think you might be right in this case.
I process and then sharpen and downsize for web at 1800 wide or whatever I choose in a program
by Tony Kuyper, TK actions, a landscape photographer/software computer person that a lot of landscape
photographers use for luminous masks. I just use it for his web sharpening software.
I like it, not sure any other Bird people use it.

dynamic pose, sharp with good details and the fish is a nice bonus. I agree you can dial back on sharpening just a bit. I would also tone down the whites, especially on the fish

Nice view of that fish. Like the pose and the light here.
