Volkan:

A warm welcome to BPN. It is a great international community that will help you improve your own photography, and inspire you as well.

Your coot is well exposed, esp. the bill which is so easily blown out. Water color is pleasant . Great low shooting angle.

I would consider a bit more sharpening to the bird, and also cropping up from the bottom a bit as the low angle has made that area a bit over powering.

Look forward to more!

Randy

The low angle is killer. Framing is right on as well. Light looks pretty nice.

Welcome love the background colors and I will say it is well exposed as Randy said easy to blow the whites. I would also take some off the bottom and maybe some on the short side. TFS

Really nice shooting angle and the FG water has a nice look.
Exposure overall is good, bill looks great, at iso400 you should be able to get more detail in the blacks
I think.
Comp is nice,
hope you keep posting, this is very well done.

Welcome to BPN Volkan! Nice first post. I love the low angle and the background this gave you. Nice bird too. Maybe cropping from the bottom to just above your logo would be good, for the same reason as Randy said. Looking forward to more!!

Welcome to BPN!
Beautiful light and terrific POV.
I like the hint of a water drop on the tip of the bill.
The color palette is beautiful.Ware drops and reflection of th e water on the chest are very nice to see.
You have received some good advice and I agree with the crop suggestions.
If this was mine, I would clone out the extra catch light in the eye but certainly not a big deal.
What is the black blob in the water to the left of the coot? I would clone that out if it is not an important element to the story.

Hi Gail, perfect catch. I did not see the stain until you noticed. Whatever I do, something is missing.
