This is an interesting image. I am surprised you didn't get more of a starburst through the tree but I think the depth of the image is terrific in the duotone. Congratulations with this one.

Hi Sid,
Compositionally this is very strong. The FG tree serves as a nice anchor and it's shape frames the mtn's nicely to draw your eye back into the image. I find the areas of the evergreen needles a bit dark and also the shadow area at the base of the tree..........a bit of lightening will add another layer of texture to the overall image. I find the sepia tone very nice as well love the layering of the mtn's into the distance.
Nicely done.

Nice work SId for all the reasons mentioned. I hope you explored other compositions from this location.
