Another lovely composition Jon, not to mention the beautiful lighting.
I just wifh for greater DOF to bring the entire butterfly into sharp focus. With such a soft BG could you've closed down the aperature to say F16?

You're the butterfly man, Jonathan. Nice image here. In this case I am not sure I love the natural lighting though. It looks like the wings are backlit and a lot of detail is lost to an almost transparent look. Maybe that is the "true" look of this butterfly in which case, I take it back. BUt I wish I could see more detail in the wing. But that may be just me.

The lighting is natural gents, I would have liked a smaller aperture, but hey we are in England, - relatively dull light and slightly windy! I know what you mean, maybe one day I will get it just right.

Just the apt BG with beautiful colour contrast. Lovely details.
Am tempted to suggest a crop as shown below. But its just a matter of personal taste.

Added some canvas around. Pardon for a quick/shabby work...

Hey Jon, it's always frustrating dealing with the wind. This came out very nice, and I was going to suggest a crop on the left side and than saw that Kaushik already reposted my thoughts.

Hi Jonathan,
I do like the cropped version and I do not have a problem with the lighting either. For me it's more of the pose away from us that i find a bit distracting. Bringing the BF a bit closer to parallel to the plane would also have in effect given more DOF and enable us to see more of the face.
