Image captured on Flatey Island, Iceland in May 2019. These extremely vocal beauties can be seen and heard at any location on the island. If you were lucky you might see a youngster with mom scampering around in the short grasses. I was fortunate to see this back in 2012. C&C welcome.

Nice set of legs, open bill, angled rock displays the bird well and harmonizes with the background nicely.

The feather details on the head look a bit coarse, but I don't know this bird.

Always fun to revisit older files.

Its a fine image , my first i impression is that it looks a little heavy I would suggest lifting the mid tones and the darker tones just a little, and possibly look at the orange legs in raw conversion I think there is more detail to be shown.

Like the pose and that rock perch. The open bill is another plus. Background is spot on as well.

Thanks Randy, Jonathan, and John. Randy that's pretty much the way the feathers look, plus it was extremely windy. Jonathan I'll take a closer look at both your suggestions.
