Hi John, sure is a lovely head shot, details, water drops atop head, ruby eye and light. Maybe a slight hot area bottom where whites are meeting the black feathers. Well done.

Awesome portrait that works very well in vertical. Water drops look great and it's a very pleasing color scheme. One of your best from the WOS. TFS

Lovely portrait, John! Excellent colors and detail. The exposure's spot on as well. Really solid frame. Very well done!

Still haven't been to this spot despite living about an hour and a half from it, I've been meaning to get down there before the ducks migrate. This is a beautiful portrait, really nice detail and eye contact is great. I agree about the hot area in the white feathers on the body. I would also like to see a bit more space on the right, maybe a 4x5 crop instead of the 2x3?

Very nice indeed John, i too would suggest a tiny lowering of the highlights and maybe just a tiny lift in the centre of the darkest patch on the base of the neck.

Hi John, excellent portrait, sharp, colours look great, and love the droplets on the head. Another fine image from you.

This is a nice portrait, although a bit tight for me.
I like 4X5 crops for portraits.
